Landon started Kindergarten this year.. He had a rough start but I think that he is really starting to like it now... they took him in and got him ready for his check up and they found out that he needs glasses!! (I have been saying that for the last three years) Look at how cute he looks in them!! Now if we can just get them to make him wear them all of the time and send them with him when he comes on our weekends....if it was only that easy... :)

HOOGLE ZOO 2011

My friend Michelle and I took the boys and her daughter to the Hoogle Zoo this last summer.. they had fun.. their favorite part was the spitting dinosaur.. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the zoo..they didn't have hardly any animals and they ones that they did have they were all asleep.. so much for seeing some animals..oh well the kids had a blast!!

Hi!! Yes we are still alive... I its been FOREVER since I updated last... I am going to try and be better...I can't promise anything...but I will try.. OK so what have we been up to...since school started and Jaxson is now in 2nd grade!! I know I can't even believe it!! He is getting too big!! My baby is growing up too fast!!! He wanted to play Soccer and Football this year and we said ok...not tackle football but flag football...he wanted to play tackle football and I told him he needs to learn the game and then next year he can do tackle football...so we had a SUPER SUPER busy Aug. and Sept. We had a full week all week starting with Monday's which were Football games, Tuesday's was Soccer practice, Wednesday Football games, Thursday Soccer games, Friday FREE NIGHT, and Saturday's Soccer games...yeah.. it was pure chaos...lets just say we will not be doing that again next year.. one sport at a time...it about killed us...(Eric and I) Jaxson LOVED it!! He told me "mom Football is defiantly MY sport!" Here are some pictures of both Soccer and Football...enjoy...

The first part of March I had the opportunity to go to Minnesota for our yearly manager meeting and it was good to be able to meet with other managers and get other ideas that I can bring back to my store!! We usually do a workshop while we are there and we were all sitting in the room waiting to be informed by our CEO of what workshop we were going to be doing. He was talking to us and then they opened the back doors and in walks Tim Holtz...now for those of you who do not know who this is..I will try and explain...I have been telling people that don't know him that he is like the Justin Beber of the craft world.. he is AMAZING!!! His creativity is out of this world...so everyone was screaming and so super excited...so he taught us a workshop and then he had us make a necklace...I was close to him and so he helped me with my necklace...now I tell all my customers that Tim Holtz made me a necklace...overall it was such a great experience!!

Jaxson was the SUPER STAR of his class a couple of weeks ago...we got to put this poster together...and as I was putting on all the pictures Eric said...don't you think your going a little overboard??...I said do you know where I work?? I have to make it overboard...I had so much fun looking through all of his pictures when he was little...boy time files...Jaxson did decorate it with things that he loves..sports..legos...and monster trucks...we are going to get a frame and have him hang it in his room so he can keep it!!

Last weekend we had the chance to go up to Salt Lake City with Jake and his friend Kristin. We rode the trax up like usual and went shopping at the Gateway a nd then we went to dinner at Applebees...my favorite!! It was so nice to have a fun date night with other coup les. We also went into Fanzz and bought the boys their own Texas Longhorn hat...now they are all set to be head to toe in Texas gear....and Eric is LOVING it!! Thanks to Jake and Kristin for coming up and spending the evening with us it was great to have you!!

Last Saturday we had the opportunity to go to the BYU Basketball game...Eric works with a guy and his dad is one of the BYU football coaches, so he has got us tickets to the last two BYU Basketball games...We went to the sold out game aginst San Diego State...I forgot my camera...DANG!! So this time I didn't forget it!! We sat ten rows up...good good seats...I had a good time. and it helps that they won...it was so fun to go out and do something fun with just Eric and I....and I am looking forward to the Jazz game that we are going to be attending...:) Just one side note...Jimmer?? Really good player...I don't love his name..I mean who names someone Jimmer??...I told Eric that Jaxson is going to be the next Jimmer...time to start training..:)

I had a wonderful 30th Birthday!! I went out to lunch with my best friend and her cute little guy...and then just hung out all day...didn't really do anything else...but thats the way I like it... we waited to go to dinner until we had the boys for the weekend and then we went to Wingers!! YUMMY!!! Eric took the boys to get me some smelly good stuff..:) and he got me some new clothes and this super cute necklace...Mine is a combination of both of them..its the first one..with out the softball but with the monogram "K"....so I guess you could say it is the second necklace without the boy scout logo...and with the heart...if that makes sense....anyways I work with a girl and she has one just like it and I loved it so I asked her where she got it and she told me from some one in Cali...but she has a blog...so I ordered it and I love it!! She also put a black and white family picture on the back..super cute...Thanks for everyones birthday wishes!! I had a good day!!

The other day Jaxson's teacher sent home a note...I was worried that he was in trouble...I opened it up and it said that he was choosen to get an award in their monthly award assembly. I was super excited...They told us that they wanted us to be there but not to say anything to him about it as it was supposed to be a surprise...I went and he was awarded most improved behavior and most willing to help others. Also best smile...Congrats Jax!! We are so proud of you!!

For Christmas "santa" brought Landon a pillow pet. He LOVES it!! He will not go to sleep with out it and he pets it like its a real dog...he won't sleep on it.. the other night Eric went into check on the boys and this is what he saw with Landon...

For Jaxson's birthday we got him a DS and one of the agreements was that he would "sell" us back his Leapster2 and we would get him a game to go with his DS. So we gave Landon the Leapster2 and get him a puppy pet game.. and he LOVES it!! Look how cute he looks...trying to concentrate...:) I love the pj's.. he got them from
my parents for Christmas!!

I am trying to teach him what to do...and you can see he was kindof distracted by the game and didn't want to look at Eric for the picture...

Eric's neice and nephew Kyle and Jade stayed at his parents house for a week after Christmas. It was fun to be able to have the kids play together, poor Jade as she being the only girl they came over to spend the night one night and we had a craft night...It was fun Jade and I made some books for her friends in Logan and the boys played their DS's. I had been telling Eric that I needed to go through all of my scrapbooking stuff and get rid of some of the old stuff that I will no use any more.. so what a better time to do that then this night and then I could give it all to Jade (sorry Wes and Heather) She was super excited and kept saying this is too much money.. I can't have all of this.. I am glad that I could give it to someone that really wanted it and not just throw it all away...It was fun to have them both come over and get to spend some time with them... I hope they had fun!!

I seriously can not beileve how time files...I mean I know how other people say kids grow up so fast...be now I realize that it seriously FILES by...I can't believe Jaxson is 7!!! It feels like yesterday he was just three... and about a moth ago I was about to go into labor...I am so lucky to have him be a part of my life...He continues to grow and make us all laugh by the funny things he says and does...I couldn't picture my life with out him! I love him so much and am so grateful for everyday that I get to have with him...I went through and put together a slide show of a bunch of pictures from when he was born to now...I hope you enjoy looking back as much as I do...

Birthday Celebrations for Jaxson!!

We also celebrated Jaxson's Birthday this weekend too...My family had a Christmas party with my mom's side of the family and so Courtney and I decided that we would just have Jaxson's and Ethan's party after the BIG Christmas party...I was in charge of the cakes and Ethan LOVES Spiderman and Jaxson wanted a Utes cake...Courtney took on the pinata, and the kids had a blast!! We decided to get him a DS for his birthday and he LOVES it!! Thanks to everyone that came out and helped celebrate with us!!

For the Gordon's party Jaxson wanted Chicken Alfredo so I was in charge of making dinner and the cake, so I took the easy way out with the cake and just made it simple... It was good to have time to spend with Eric's family.. I want to thank everyone that was able to make it to his celebration!!

All I can say is that I am SO glad we decided to go up to see the lights. The boys LOVED it!! FYI...Picture overload...but all I can say is that it was such a fun time that I think that we will make it a tradition....in the end the boys were so worn out.. but they really enjoyed it and it was good family time!!

Trax ride to Temple Square

We took the boys to Temple Square last weekend!! Eric and I thought it would be fun to let the boys ride the trax...plus we don't have to worry about parking and all those CRAZY Utah drivers...Jaxson has been on the Trax once before but this was Landon's first time...They had loads of fun!! It was a long night but I am sure glad that we took them up there this year.

So I had yesterday off and I was supposed to get alot of things done around our house, finish our Christmas Cards, finish getting ready for this weekend, actually start Christmas shopping, ect, ect, ect...but instead all I did was clean my house get some laundry done, almost finished addressing the Christmas cards, but I did however make something that I think is SUPER cute!! Actually I can't take credit for the idea.. I work with this super creative girl named Kimmy and she made one for Halloween and it turned out so cute so I have been wanting to make one for Christmas for a while now but just didn't have the time.. Well yesterday I made the time!! I think it turned out cute!! Hope you all have a good weekend.. We have a really busy one.. we are taking the boys to Temple Square on Friday night. Then I have my family Christmas party Saturday day, Jaxson's and Ethan's birthday party on Saturday night and then off to the Gordons on Sunday to celebrate Jaxson's birthday with them too...It will be a SUPER busy weekend but a fun one too.. I am making the cakes for both the parties..I am sure I will have loads of pictures to share by Monday!! Have a GREAT weekend!!

If you guys know Eric then you know that he loves to watch ANY sport...well this year I have been more into watching the Utah Jazz then I usually am and I have to say I actually really like it...and they are on a pretty good winning streak...I do have my favorite.. and that would be Mr. Paul... I mean check him out.. how can you not like him...? He is always clean looking and has the cutest baby face..Eric calls him my boy...and I am OK with that... maybe we can get tickets and go to one of the games this year... and I can see my boy in person...:) GO JAZZ!!!

THANKSGIVING

This year for Thanksgiving we went down to Mount Pleasant. We were able to share the holiday with Eric's family. It was great to be around his aunt Debbie and uncle Kevin and their family at their house. They are such kind people and always make you feel so welcome when you are around them. Dinner was so delicious!! Eric had to work at Kmart later that evening so we didn't get to spend a ton of time visiting with everyone..I didn't get any pictures because it was kind of an awkward situation but hopefully that will all come with time and things will be back to normal soon. Eric's mom wanted to get a family picture taken which I think was a GREAT idea...much needed.. It needs to happen more often but his family is kind of spread out and hard to get together all at once...His brother's wife Erica is pregnant and so in April the picture will be out dated...but who knows maybe at the baby blessing we could snag another one real quick...we will just have to wait and see..overall it was such a good thanksgiving and I am thankful for everyone that I got to share it with...I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving..

INDOOR SOCCER

We put Jaxson in indoor Soccer this year so he can keep active during the winter months. I don't know how well it is organized but he likes it and I guess thats all that matters...I just hope he can learn to control the ball better by playing inside.. It is kind of a ghetto set up.. but he enjoys it and it keeps him active and thats what matters the most.

I know I am really behind in the blogging world... but the boys went to Eric's parents trunk or treat this year and they ended up with a TON of candy.. their entire bag was full.. Jaxson was so amazed that someone was handing out cans of soda...These pictures are not the greatest but they are all we have until I make them put their costumes back on and get some better pictures. Jaxson was Captian Rex...(star wars the clone wars) don't ask I don't know.. and Landon was the cutest doctor...it was fun and the kids loved every minute of it!!

Eric is always wanting to take the boys out and do fun things... He was looking in the paper before Halloween and saw that Provo river does a cruse with carved pumpkins..so we decided to take the boys.. It was neat..I think they said that they carve over 300 pumpkins every week for this. I don't think that we will go back it was too expensive.. but it was fun for the boys.. they even had pirates that jumped in the water..glad thats not my job.

For Landon's birthday my brother and sister-in-law gave him these WONDERFUL window markers...(thanks Jen) the other day the boys wanted to break them out, when they were all done they had me come and look at it and this is what Jaxson had written. I asked him why he included BYU because his team is the UTES and he told me this year I am on both teams...I think he just wants to have the best of both worlds...too bad BYU lost this year...but hey there is always next year..

About a month ago Jaxson came home from school talking kindof funny. I told him to look at me and both of his front two teeth were gone... I asked him where are your teeth.. and he simply said oh they fell out at school when I was eating an apple... as most of you know I am a teeth person.. needless to say I am so glad that we already have our family pictures taken and HOPEFULLY they will come in soon and no all jacked up.. we will just have to wait and see..I know he doesn't look that bad I just hate the stage that he is entering..

Jaxson had a good soccer season this year...I wish he would have had a better coach..but that will have to wait til next year.. We might put him in indoor soccer this winter but he also wants to try wrestling..so we will see and keep you posted!!

This last weekend we had Landon's birthday parties...we had one at Eric's parents house and one at my parents house...we got a pinata for the kids at my parents house and they had a blast with it!! We ordered a Spider man cake from Costco for Eric's parents and I made a Halloween spiderweb cake out of cupcakes for my parents party. We got him a ladybug farm and have sent away for real lady bugs so I will have to keep you posted on how every thing goes...Thanks to every one that came and helped celebrated his birthday with us!! (as for the pictures they are not in any order sorry)

NEW LOOK...?

I have been so sick of my hair lately, I have been telling everyone that I either want to cut it or perm it. I have also been waiting until my bald spots have grown back...well I finally did it and I chopped 5 1/2 inches off...I feel better and maybe I might go a little shorter...but we will have to just wait and see..

We went up to SLC last weekend and we rode the Trax. It was fun to get out and have a night out on the town.

SOCCER 2010

This year we had to go all out for Jaxson soccer stuff and Eric was in heaven...We headed to Big 5 and got him all geared up...new shorts, new cleats, new shin guards, new socks, and a new ball. So he is now all set and set in style thanks to Eric. He got to choose what number jersey he got and he choose 11 because he is number one and Eric is number one so they can both be number one together. Eric made him the same deal this year as last a dollar for every goal he makes. He is now playing positions so we will see how well he does.

I can't believe that my baby boy is in 1st grade!! He is getting so BIG!! Time flies by so fast!! I took him to his first day of school and I tried to give him a hug when I left and he said mom please don't embarrass me too bad....I have cool friends now and I need to be cool. I surprised Eric and got him tickets to one of his favroite singers Jack Johnson at USANA. I have to admit I wasn't a HUGE fan of him before,but now after seeing him in concert I LOVE him. I can't stop listening to him. I am sure glad we had the chance to go.

This year we had the chance to take the boys to the Fiesta Days Carnival and to see the Farm animals at the County Fair. Landon has a thing for any kind of animal and Jaxson loves the thrill of the carnival rides. We all had a fun time.

This year Eric and I went to the Stadium of Fire!! I was super impressed with Carrie Underwood!! She is sooo good!! and not to mention beautiful!!! I am glad we had the chance to go it was a fun time for both of us!!

I have to say for it being in July the weather was so nice.I think it was around 80 degrees...what a good day to be packed next to a million people!!

We didn't have Landon on Easter so we decided that we would wait to celebrate it when he came up last weekend.. They had fun doing the eggs.. and the Easter Bunny brought them some fun things...Jaxson got a new bike (with no training wheels) and Landon got some new games... (he has no interest in riding a bike) I hope you all had a good Easter. ps..don't judge Landon's hair...I don't have any control of it... :(

Thanksgiving Point Farm (another feildtrip)

Jaxson's class had another field trip that I was able to be a part of. We went up to Thanksgiving Point to the Farm. It was the first time I had ever been and it was kinda fun.

I seriously thought that he was going to barf when the goat licked his hand...if you look close you can see his teachers hand pushing his hand up to the goats mouth...and if you know Jaxson at all he has a very sensitive gag reflex..."it was seriously gross" as he described!!

They had this activity sheet that they let the kids put stuff on...like what food the animals ate.. and they had real wool from the sheep at the farm.. He glued it on and then said

"is this really from a real sheep??"

Yes Jaxson it's really from a sheep the tour lady said

"that's disgusting!!"

He is defiantly my child :)

Yesterday was our Anniversary!! We have been married for 2 years... there has been alot of ups and downs...but we have stuck through it all...I couldn't imagine not having Eric in my life.. He is so sweet and caring...and a great step-dad to Jaxson. I look forward to many more years ahead.. hopefully full of more ups then downs...but that is marriage for you. Thanks for everything you do for our family Eric! I love you!!! We are going to Vegas next week to celebrate..so I will have pictures to post when we get back!!

Fieldtrips

I volunteered to help with a field trip to the Post Office, Fire Dept., and Police Station. I usually don't have the patience to deal with other people's kids... so I would not normally offer to something so out of my element.. but Jaxson really wanted me to go.. so I took one for the team..and it wasn't too bad after all...

Jaxson has been a long time waiting for his tooth to come out... He lost his first tooth about a month ago...Eric ended up pulling it out for him...

He told me "mom don't worry I didn't even cry"...He now has his other bottom tooth that is really loose...I can't believe he is getting so big!!!

I took the boys to Color Me Mine to make a plate for Eric for Valentines Day.

They had a lot of fun, so much fun that I let them make one for themselves..

It was kinda expensive but they had a ton of fun! And Eric LOVED it!!

Now they don't have to fight over one plate they can all have their own...:)

Hi everyone!! We are still alive.. We have been super busy.. I am not going to update from last November, but I will catch you all up on what has been going on the last little bit...

Eric is still working in Provo at a Nursing Rehab Center, doing maintenance on all of the pretty much everything in the building. He keeps busy as usually when he gets home he gets called back into work for another service call.

I am still working full time Managing Archiver's. It keeps my busy all of the time. In February we had an all managers meeting in Minnesota, It was nice to meet all of our managers especially the ones that are in my district. It is good to finally be able to put a face with a voice and names.

Jaxson is a busy body as usual. He loves Kindergarten and is a the top of his class, knowing how to read and do simple math problems...We are trying to teach him how to ride the new bike that we got for him. I am thinking about putting him into T-ball this summer, but we will have to see how busy our schedules are but he will definitely be playing soccer this fall.

Landon is starting to learn his ABC's and all of his colors. When he comes up every other weekend he is Jaxson's shadow, they are the best of buds and are consistently going going going.

I am going to post some recent pictures that we have been up to the last little while. I promise to try and keep up on my postings...but sometimes I am just too busy!! but I will try...:)

Since I have had some extra time this week I figured that we would get our Halloween decorations up...now we are not finished..we still need to go get our pumpkins..but other then that.. It's all done!!

H1N1 Virus

This last Saturday night Jaxson had a fever of 103 for about 2 hours and I could do anything to break it...so Eric told me to take him into to the doctor...better to be safe then sorry...So I called Sky and had her come with me. We finally got to the after hours insta care. After for waiting for about an hour, we finally got into be seen. And the results are... he has the H1N1 Virus...so basically he is to be kept away from everyone for 5-7 days...that means that I have to stay home with him...So I asked the doctor about anyone that was in contact with him.. are they at risk?? She told me to let everyone know and that they need to get a Flu shot to help prevent them from getting it.. so Jaxson and I both got our shots right then and there...and I think that's why he hasn't been too sick...She also called in some meds. for him and so we are on our way to pick them up to find out that nation wide they are all sold out..So they finally compounded the adult dose so that he could have something to help fight this awful virus...So I got home and had to disinfect our HOLE house...everything he touched had to be cleaned. We got new toothbrushes for him.. one for every day of the week so that the germs wouldn't continue to be put back into his body...overall he hasn't had it as bad as some of the others that I know have had it...Thanks to the Flu shot and the meds. I can just say that if you are trying to decide to get the flu shot for you or your kids I would suggest it...I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through this...good thing we are towards the end of this...because I think that we both can't handle being in this house for one more day!!!

Landon's Birthday was on Monday so we took the kids last Saturday to Pirate's Island to celebrate his birthday...I wasn't that impressed with it... I would say it's not that "kid" friendly. There wasn't that many things for the little ones to do...the food was Super good... the kids did have a good time and then we went back to my parents to open presents and have cake and ice cream...overall it was a really fun day!! Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated this special day with us!!

BOOK OF MORMON

Jaxson has this buddie in his church class that comes to church with his Book of Mormon. Jaxson loves this kid.. and wants to do and have everything he does.. Jaxson was sitting with me in church a couple of weeks ago and he was looking through my scriptures. He asked me why they were all colored in? I tried to explain to him as best as I could that we mark the ones that say important things. He asked me if he can have his own Book of Mormon. I told him sure and when we got home Eric gave him an old one that he has had for a while and Jaxson was on cloud nine!! He will not let it out of his sight. He sleeps with it, he eats with it, and he told me when he woke up from his nap the other day that I need to give him a second while he reads from his scriptures... needless to say.. he LOVES his scriptures... and he even marks them when he thinks that they are saying something important...:)

Jaxson is done with soccer for this year, he ended up doing really good. I think he understood more this year then he did last year. He said he wants to play again next year so we will see about that and I was also thinking about putting him in T-ball..I'm not sure for now... but we will have to see what happens when spring rolls around. To all of you who are wanting to know how much money he made off of Eric this year for some of his games... He ended up making $17.00!! Yeah I think its alot... I'm just glad they didn't make that deal at the start of the season... I would be broke!! Here is a picture of him with his metal...He wants to sleep with it every night..

Colorado Trip!!!

So about three weeks ago we had the opportunity to go to Colorado to Nic and Jen's open house. We had a lot of fun!! It was the first time for Jaxson to fly on a plane!! He had a ton of fun on the plane.. he got to sit in the window seat and watch the entire flight!! While we were in Colorado Springs we had a tour of the Air Force Academy by the one and only JEN!! It was really fun and I am glad that we decided to go.. I also got the chance to see the Archiver's that they have out there...it was good to see another store and fun to see some of their ideas!! It was a really fun trip!! Thanks to Jen's family for having us!!!

Soccer 2009

So Jaxson liked soccer so much last year that I decided that I would continue to let him play! I think that its really good for him to play.. It teaches him skills to kick a ball and control it as well as gives him some GOOD exercise!! This year he is a lot better then he was last year. He has actually scored lots of goals this year as apposed to last year. Eric made him a deal three games ago.. that for every goal he made he would give him a dollar. So far he is up to $ 9.00!! I guess its a good way to get him motivated and he already has a Transformer picked out that he wants to get when his Soccer season is all over. He still has two games left.. so we will see how much more he can earn...

First day on the BUS!!

Ok so today was the day...FRIDAY.. the day Jaxson gets to ride to and from school on the BUS!! He was so excited that he was up and dressed ready to go at 7:30 am... yeah the bus doesn't even come to pick them up until 8:30 am.. so he had a while to wait... We have some neighbors that have a little boy named Ben and him and Jaxson are in the same class, so that helped to know that he has someone that he can be a buddy to and they can ride together and sit together and IF they happen to get lost... at least they will be together!!! Well everything went really good.. it was kindof weird to be home all alone.. but I had some packing to do.. and some wash.. so I kept busy... then it was time to go get them off the bus and... he SURVIVED!! He got off the bus and was grinning from ear to ear.. and he said " see mom.. I'm fine" anyways long story short.. he had a BLAST and can't wait to ride it again!! Beware.. picture over load!!

Jaxson's FIRST day of school!!

So Wednesday was Jaxson's first day of Kindergarten!! He was so EXCITED!! We got there and he says " mom are all these kids my new friends?" I kinda laughed and said well not all of them but some of them... It was really weird to see him just walk right into his class and not even blink, I on the other hand was like hey bud where is my hug and kiss.. he looked around.. and said.. OK mom quick before anyone sees...so needless to say it was a very quick hug and kiss.. and then he was off.. I can't even believe it...My little guy is growing up so dang fast!! So I had a few errands to run while he was in school.. so I ran and did them so that I could be there in time to pick him up... He came out of his class and said I LOVE SCHOOL!! When do I get to come back?? I told him he comes every day except for Saturday and Sunday. He was so happy.. UNTIL we walked outside and he saw the school bus... He ran straight to it.. I told him he couldn't ride the bus home cause I had to go to work.. He was so mad at me.. crying and not happy at all!! I told him that he can ride the bus on my days off...plus I am a little OCD and I don't really know if I want him to ride the bus... I mean he is only 5 and what happens when he gets off and gets lost.. I know.. I know.. I will let him ride it on my days off.. just have to keep my anxiety levels under control... Any ways he was really upset at me for not letting him ride the bus that he wouldn't even talk to me the whole way to his dads.. So Friday is the day and hopefully that will be the BEST day cause he gets to ride the bus!!!

Today was registration for Jaxson. I really can't believe that he is going to be in Kindergarten!! Time goes by so fast... We went to register him this morning and he was so excited!! He kept telling me "mom this means that I am a really BIG boy now" I really can't believe that he is starting school... all the things that I have to do... new school clothes... new shoes... school supplies.. I just can't believe that its already here... While we were registering him they took him and tested him to see if he qualifies for the all day Kindergarten.. which I already know that he won't... and then when we were all done we walked around the school to see where his class room would be.. we still don't know what teacher he has or what time he will be going until next week sometime.. He told me as we were walking around the school... I really think I'm going to have lots of new friends... I had to take the picture of him.. cause thats what I do... I think there was some people look at me like I'm nuts.. but oh well least I can have a good memory of this day... as far as shots and stuff goes.. thats next Friday...he has to get 5 of them... but he is a trooper and will be fine... but until then.. here is his silly picture... I couldn't get him not to do the peace sign.. but at least when I look at it.. it makes me laugh!!

We went to the dentist on Tuesday for our 6 month check-up and cleaning. I had to work for a bit that morning, so Jaxson's dad dropped him off to my work just before we had to be to the dentist. He ended up telling all of the girls that he is going to have 10 cavities...I don't think that he really realizes what that would mean to have 10 cavities... He has only had one tiny one before and he did really good with it. He was really excited to go.. and I think he actually talked more then the Hygenist did... which if you know our hygenist then thats really hard to do... anyways.. the dentist came in and checked him all out and much to his surprise.. NO CAVITIES!!! YEAH!!! I did however end up with a tiny tiny one... but over all not to bad...

SO here is his two thumbs up for NO CAVITIES!!!

Most of you know me by now.. and if you don't then you soon will... but for those of you who do know me you also know my sidekick... JAXSON. I know you all enjoy hearing all about our adventures and the things that he says from day to day.. he is fun and keeps me on my toes.. well yesterday, I wanted to go to Home Depot and get some new flowers, seeing as mine were all pretty much dead.. so we were off.. well we got some and on the way out there was a man sitting on the curb selling Tomato plants.. and for those of you who know Jaxson.. he had to stop and talk to him, ask him many questions and then he started to make a deal with him.. telling him that he was a big boy and could take care of his own plant.. so the guy asked him how much money he had and Jaxson pulled out his $ 2.00 (that he has to take EVERYWHERE until he finds something he wants to spend it on) and the guy says you know what I think that we have a deal.. if its OK with your mom.. So now I look like the bad guy if I say no.. so of course I said OK after two minutes of Jaxson begging me and telling me he will take care of it and water it every day... (just glad the guy didn't have a dog for sell) so needless to say.. we now have a HUGE tomato plant... and Jaxson is telling everyone that when they get ripe enough to pick we are going to make Ketchup...Yeah.. we will see about that... but for now here is HIS tomato plant. I hope that it stays alive long enough to get some good tomatoes from it...

BRIDAL SHOWER FOR JEN!!!

My sisters and I put together a Bridal shower for our soon to be sister in law Jen!! It turned out really well and it was so good to see everyone that came...It was also good to meet some of her sisters and her mom.. I think that they got a good taste of what this side of the family is like...Sometimes I think we can be a bit overwhelming but its all out of love...:) I had a blast for the most part... I just need to learn that I can't control everything.. and its OK if it all doesn't go how its planned.. plus I DON"T need anymore GREY hairs...Yes I found three the other day.. I stress TOO much!! Anyways.. just want to say how excited we all are to have her be a part of this family.. I think she is EXACTLY what our family needs... and it's so great to see Nic so happy!! We love you Jen and are happy that your going to be a part of this FAMILY!!!

BEATING THE SUMMER HEAT

This summer I wanted to keep cool but have it in the comfort of my own house... then you don't have to deal with all the white trash people (you know the ones that think they can fit into a swim suit that is actually three sizes too small but they think they look really cute) and the over load of children that are not being supervised because their parents just let them roam, So we got a pool, not a huge one.. but its pretty big for Jaxson.. and he loves it... so we have only had it up about three times this summer... but it gets the job done.. and I don't have to see any nasty people...we had my friend Michelle and her kids come over and then a couple of weeks ago my sister Courtney brought her kids down and they all had a blast.. we DEFINITELY need to have them over again... Thanks for coming over guys!!!

Trip to Minnesota

So I guess it was about a month ago that my work flew me out to Minnesota to interview for the Store Manager job. It was a really quick trip, but while I was there I did get to visit the one and only Mall of America. I have to say that in my eyes it was kinda silly, I mean really who needs something like that?? Its FOUR levels.. and has an amusement park inside.. to me thats just nuts!! I almost got lost a couple of times.. thats how big it is... I guess it would have been more fun if I wouldn't have been alone.. but I can now say that I have been to there.. and thats more then alot of people can say...I don't know if I will have the opportunity to every return, but if not then i'm totally ok with the experience that I had...also a HUGE thanks to Nic and Jen who told me to get a GPS with my rental car...cause with out that I would have been completely lost...overall it was a crazy three days.. but well worth it...

I hope you all had a good Valentines Day.. I'm really not that big into this holiday but Eric LOVES it.. so I had wanted to do something extra special for him to let him know how much I love and appreciate all the things that he does for me.. but I really couldn't think of anything to do until I talked to my sister Courtney.. and she always has great ideas.. so I copied her and made Eric a candy bar poster and had one of the girls that I work with take it to him at work.. It was a great surprise and I even embarrassed him as I had planned.. I came home and he bought me some roses.. and we went to dinner a Red Robin.. (I was thinking of Erica the whole time we were there) it was so good.. so that was our Valentines Day.!! I hope you all had a great one with the ones you love!!!

The Cavities are FILLED!!!

We went in for our dental check ups and Jaxson and I both had a small cavity. I always tell him that if he doesn't brush his teeth good then he will get a cavity and then the dentist will have to drill his tooth... He says with a real drill mom.. and I tell him with a dentist drill.. and that he might have to get a shot.. he seemed OK with it... he did ask me if it was going to hurt and I told him I didn't know.. but they have to do it so his tooth won't rot...so we went in last wed. and had them filled... They did such a great job with him...It was his first one and he did a great job.. he was done in ten minutes.. and didn't even flinch..

*** Just something to make you all laugh at what a goof Jaxson is...when we were there for our cleanings he informed Skyler and the Dentist that Jesus had made him with extra long teeth and the he put them in pointy side up... so the Dentist tells Jaxson... well its a good thing they are pointy side up cause then you would be a cow.. Jaxson didn't quite understand.. but it was funny.. and I really don't know where he comes up with the things he says.. but they sure do make me laugh!!

OK so most of you that know me know that I can be a little OCD at times.. OK maybe a lot at times.. well the other day I had the day off and Jaxson and I were just hanging out around the house.. I was folding some laundry and went to go check on him and this is what I found...

Now as you can see in this picture all of the cars are perfectly in order.. all of them are in the same spot...with one right in the middle of the tile... and I asked him.. Jaxson.. what are you doing.. he simply said well mom.. ah.. what does it look like.. I'm having a conference with my cars.. and they all have their own spot.. I just laughed and had to take a picture to show everyone what a nut he is.. Unfortunately I'm afraid that he has inherited my OCD jean..

My Brother Nic moved into an apartment downtown Salt Lake so its closer to his work.. since he works at the conference center.. anyways we went up and helped him move in.. well they have an indoor pool at his place and he told Jaxson that he could come up anytime and come swimming.. so we waited til last weekend when Landon was here and we headed up.. my mom was watching Courtney's kids so they could go out for their anniversary so they met us up there and we all went swimming.. except little Ethan.. he was sick so he stayed out.. but they all had a blast and I even got Landon to see that he can float by himself and he was so excited about that!! When it was time to go everyone still wanted to swim.. so we will have to go up again and stay longer!! THANKS NIC!!!

Last Saturday Eric's cousin Jake got married.. It turned out really nice.. it was fun to see everyone that came it was nice to visit with everyone.. Eric was his best man and I think that he was just as nervous as he was on our wedding day!! It was a wonderful day and I am glad now not to be the third wheel with them any more.. Well as some of you know I love the snow!! I know a lot of you are saying in your head..yeah...yeah... especially those who work with me!! I love every bit of this snow!! I wish that it would snow from now until the end of march!! anyways.. we had the boys this weekend again.. we are switching weekends so we can have them the same time as my sister has hers and that Jake's wife has hers.. so we took them for two weekends in a row.. and I didn't have to go into work til later on Saturday.. so I got them all bundled up and took them out to play in the snow!! They had a blast!! I think it was really good for them to get outside and get some fresh air.. I was taking pictures like crazy cause we don't have any from Christmas cause we didn't have the boys..any ways I got some really cute ones.. and then my batteries died.. so I will have to wait til we have them again and take them sledding or something.. but anyways they are so fun and growing up so fast.. We had the second part of Jaxson's birthday with my hole family.. we had the Sigman family Christmas party that night too.. it was a fun time and Jaxson had a blast!! Thanks to everyone that was there it made Jaxson feel so special to think that all of you would sing Happy Birthday to him... THANKS!!

Here we all are at Gordon's. Susan cooked dinner for the family and we did white elephants and had fun.. all of Eric's brothers were there and that doesn't happen to often.. so we had to get pictures... we also did Jaxson's birthday too.. so enjoy the pictures.. we were sad that Landon was not able to come up.. he was sick with strep throat... Jaxson got a lot of stuff.. including a ton of transformers.. and some clothes.. and a cooking set.. (Erica we haven't used it yet.. but don't you worry he asks almost every day when can we cook..) I will for sure take pictures and do a post on it..

I told Jaxson that I would make him a Bumble Bee cake for his birthday..not to confuse some of you.. he is obsessed with Bumble Bee the Transformer.. and since we had two parties to do for him that meant that I needed to make two cakes.. Let me just tell you.. It wasn't bad..it just took forever.. I think that I did a pretty good job considering that its pretty much my first one ever... so here is the masterpiece...

Christmas program..

Jaxson had a Christmas program for his pre-school that he goes to.. I had a bunch of other pictures but they all have red-eye really bad so these are the two that I thought were the best.. He told Santa.. I want all the Transformers.. good ones and bad ones..

So as some of you know.. I work two jobs.. well my mom is a great help with that.. she helps by watching Jaxson while I work at Mervyn's.. or I should say when I worked at Mervyn's.. anyways.. My parents have been re-doing their basement and Jaxson was so excited to help my mom paint.. well I got off of work early one night and I was talking to my mom and they were down there painting.. and Jaxson was just doing his own thing.. come to find out that while we were talking he was making what he calls "ART" yeah.. he is too smart for his own good sometimes.. so here is his "ART" and its all OK.. my mom just painted over it again..

He did also decided that the other wall was bare.. its kinda funny.. he only did one hand print there.. I don't know why only one.. but my mom told him that she would leave that one up forever.. so she dated it and its still there...

I am so glad that Halloween is over... I have a 4 year old that was Bumblebee the Transformer.. and in case you don't have a 4 year old that is obsessed with the movie Transformers all you hear all day long is gun shooting sounds..(Kendall I would rather have pink everything.. and frills every where then hear those darn shooting sounds again..) and it was to the extreme because he had his costume to put on and his mask to wear.. so yeah the joys of haveing a BOY!!.. I'm so glad that its over.. but we did have a pretty fun time.. a little bit of a melt down towards the end.. but overall it was pretty fun!!

Birthdays in October...

In my family we have a ton of birthdays in October... and now that Eric and I are married there are two more to add to the month.. anyways we usually get together and have family dinner with everyone.. Well this year we didn't have everyone here but most of us were here to have family dinner... I told my mom that I wanted to make the cake.. so I had this great idea.. well turned out that it wasn't so great after all.. but it still turned out pretty cute... so here is the wonderful piece if art that I made.. Eric told me that he thinks that I should go into business... ha ha..I wish that I could make cakes and decorate them for a living.. what a dream...

This is the finished masterpeice... after the candles were lit and blown out.. I tried to up load some other pictures of the cake.. so you could see the inside.. cause its black and orange.. but my computer is so GHETTO!!!

This last Sunday we celebrated Landon's 3rd Birthday.. We got him a bike!! Now him and Jaxson can go bike ridding all they want.. well we have to teach him how to ride it first.. but it will be fun!! So we had a fun day.. thanks to all of our family that were able to come it was really fun!! For those of you who will notice the cake.. yeah I didn't realize that I needed 2 N's for Landon' name.. so that is why its missing an N.. and the cake looks bad.. but it was my second one for the day and I was not about to make another one.. any ways.. that means that its getting close to Jaxson's birthday.. and that means CHRISTMAS!!! AHHH... where did the year go... well I hope you enjoy the pictures!!

I was at home the other day and my brother called me up to see if I was at work to help him put together a card for one of his friends.. well I wasn't at work.. surprise surprise.. so I told him that I have some stuff at the house let me see what I can put together..low and behold.. I know its been a while since I last posted.. and I know you all still are waiting to see wedding pictures.. I'm just super busy lately.. Eric and I are both working two jobs.. we are trying to save money.. so eventually we can get into a house..anyways..a couple weeks ago we went up to the Dew Tour...it was pretty fun..but we only got to see the bikes.. not the motor bikes.. but it was fun to get out of the house and do something different..While we were there Jaxson had the opportunity to see Darth Vader.. or as he calls him Dark Thader.. so he went to get his picture taken with him..and as he calls them the white guys... well Eric took him up there and he was a little scared.. so Eric had to get into the picture with him..but it was fun.. enjoy the pictures...

So as some of you know this last Sunday was the one year mark for the FLOOD at the University Mall..When a main water pipe broke under the mall and flooded almost half of the mall.. So some of us at work were joking about that the other day..like we were home free...well last night some of the construction guys were welding some play thing together..and a spark landed in the tree..and it started on fire.. so the sprinklers in the mall turned on..and the water came seeping into out store..not to worry..it was just like a mini flood.. nothing too bad..but now we have water under our fixtures again...but we I don't think that its too bad..however the smell of the smoke its pretty bad...hopefully they can get the smell out sooner then later..?!?!? (but we are talking about the mall) anyways now we just have to wait and see what next Labor Day brings us...anyways I put this picture on my receiving computer as the wall paper.. and I thought that I have to post it.. oh the good times..Right..Melanie???

A NEW LOOK??

I have been wanting to change my look for some time now...but I don't ever have the time.. or the guts to do it.. Well Tuesday.. I had some spare time..and I guess I was feeling spontaneous..?? So I chopped off all of my hair off!! I am still deciding if I like it.. its a huge change for me and for those of you who know me.. I have to have my hair long enough to pull it all back into a ponytail.. Well not any more.. its all gone!! I cut almost 9 inches.. but its just hair..and it will grow back...but for now its a nice change..also..not the greatest at self portraits..
